Whether we utilize art

expression as a medicine

in the service of healing

from illness, for maintaining a

vibrant state of wellness, or for

allowing for the spontaneous

expression of spirit, it brings

to us the opportunity of

remembering our wholeness.

"We have a chance to
'get out of our own way,'
and to enter an altered state

Come and experience a day of art, movement and music expression!

Exploring creative pathways, you will
have the opportunity to:

create a unique 'Body Map,' as you
expand your awareness of your internal rhythms,
tap into
the wisdom that is contained deep within,
bring
your own images to light, and
access
the boundless potential for creativity, self-understanding, and joy!

Within each of us is a language that reveals the truth of our thoughts, and emotions. That language is our inner imagery: images describe our experiences with a depth that words cannot achieve, at times conveying powerful messages that have otherwise remained out of our awareness. If you pay attention, your emerging imagery will reveal information about the movement and the meaning in your life.

In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to experience
a unique and powerful 'Body Map' process, which Ms. Lubbers has developed and utilized in her work with clients and workshop participants for over two decades.

We will elicit your body's participation in this process, enhanced by the healing vibrations of music, and mindfulness, to encourage a "full bodied" experience. Art and movement experiences, along with guided visual and sound meditations bring greater access to our inner wisdom; from our bodies, our emotions, our minds, and our souls.

Darcy Lubbers, ATR, MFT will be your facilitator for this transformational workshop. She brings together her experience as a body-centered psychotherapist and the related modalities of somatically oriented art therapy, guided imagery, focusing oriented therapy, meditation, yoga, hellerwork, and movement expression.

Christopher Pellani will be a guest presenter for the workshop, creating the healing music, utilizing sacred sound principles and rhythm awareness for transformation and healing. Christopher is a dynamic multi-percussionist, vocalist, producer, sound healer and practicing Kriya Yogi with extensive world-wide performance credits.

No prior art experience is necessary to enroll for this workshop. Simply bring yourself, and your openness to explore new forms of communicating with your deeper self. Every person has the ability to project their inner imagery into graphic, visual form, regardless of their talent or skill.

Art expression…
• is the first touchstone to our thoughts and memories, giving rise to the familiar phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words".
• forms
a bridge to parts of our selves that have remained out of our awareness.
• provides
a creative pathway for expressing and resolving emotional issues.
• activates
the inner healing mechanisms that are an inherent part of our nature.
• creates
a visual record outside of our self for further reflection.

Whether we utilize art expression as a medicine in the service of healing from illness, for maintaining a vibrant state of wellness, or for allowing for the spontaneous expression of spirit, it brings to us the opportunity of remembering our wholeness. By experiencing our essence as timeless, we can indeed touch eternity.

Special Note to Health Care Professionals
